The Hobbit : Production details, DVDs etcThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: There And Back Again are released in December 2012, December 2013 and December 2014 respectively.
The films are produced by New Line Cinema and MGM, with Warner Brothers handling worldwide theatrical distribution. In the US, The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey is available on Digital Download from 9th March, while the DVD and Blu-Ray will be released on 19th March. In the UK, the film will be available in DVD An extended edition of The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey will be released later in 2013. Howard Shore's soundtrack of The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey will be released on 10th December 2012. A track list can be seen here...
