Robin Hood series 2 : Children in Need

Richard Armitage and Lucy Griffiths appeared in a two part sketch for the BBC's Children in Need appeal on Friday 16th November 2007.

Children in Need is a charity event hosted by the BBC every year. Weeks of fundraising across the UK culminate in a marathon 7 hour programme broadcast on BBC One. Celebrity guests and special sketches from popular TV programmes are featured, all in an attempt to part viewers from as much money as possible. Pudsey Bear (right) is the mascot of Children in Need.

Children in Need was first broadcast in 1980, when it raised over £1 million. The 2007 appeal raised £37 million. All the money donated is given as grants to projects that help disadvantaged children and young people.

If you'd like to donate to Children in Need, a registered UK charity, you can call 0345 733 2233, or donate online, by post or at a bank - see the Children in Need website for details.

Those appearing in 2007 included Kylie Minogue, the Spice Girls, Annie Lennox, Doctor Who (both David Tennant and Peter Davison), John Barrowman, Sybil Fawlty at Hotel Babylon, the casts of EastEnders, The Bill and Holby City, the BBC newsreaders, dancers from Strictly Come Dancing...

...and Sir Guy of Gisborne and Lady Marian.
